Job Description:
Specific Requirements:
- This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career.
- As a Laboratory Technician III you will be responsible for:
- Work with biochemists on daily basis in a wide variety of routine technical assignments.
- Prepare buffers and reagent formulations following procedures.
- Work in the laboratory running Syva Viva E ProE and Beckman AU analyzers with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin.
- Perform data analysis from experimental runs and support the chemist to write internal reports and documentation.
- Be part of the analyzer conversion projects for Syva drug testing production process controls.

Education & Experience
- BS in Medical Technology Biology Chemistry Biochemistry
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques used in a chemistry lab (pH pipetting handling of chemicals and controlled substances) familiar with SAP for lot tracing and inventory level.
- Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology is a plus and can be trained.
- Possess strong computer skills good communication and interpersonal skills; Strong player in a team setting be flexible and willing to learn and change.
- Required skills to have for the success of this role
- 1 year job related experience and quick to learn new skills.
- Ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong work ethic and must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs.
- Understand and comply with the Quality System Regulation and OSHA safety requirements
- Requires the basic knowledge of GMP regulations (GLP and GDP); Knowledge of FDA ISO and IVDD
- You will need to work on DEA Controlled Substances and are required to have DEA Background Check clearance.
