Job Description
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Day and Swing Shift
Location: Ridgefield WA
Salary Range: Based on Experience
Employment Type: FullTime
Join a leading Structural Steel Fabrication Shop conveniently located near the freeway in Ridgefield Washington. We are seeking a skilled and responsible CNC Machine Operator to contribute to our highquality manufacturing team.
Job DescriptionAs a CNC Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating maintaining and setting up machinery to fabricate structural steel components accurately and efficiently. This role includes interpreting blueprints performing quality checks and ensuring all work complies with company standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain CNC and other production machinery including:
- Voortman V807 Robotic Plasma Beamline
- VMI ELSQRD CNC Plasma Cutting Machine
- Band Saw
- Geka Iron Worker
- CNC Plate Table
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Set up machinery load materials adjust settings and verify accuracy for job requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to meet quality and production goals.
- Use and maintain tools and materials for steel construction work safely and efficiently.
- Age: 18
- Experience:
- 3 5 years of experience operating relevant machinery (listed above).
- Proficiency in reading and executing technical drawings (CAD experience a plus).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical Ability:
- Lift up to 65 lbs.
- Maintain dependable attendance and schedule.
- Work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Additional:
- Must be drug and marijuanafree.
- Adhere to all company policies and safe work practices.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to highquality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in a stable longterm work environment.
Day Shift
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Required overtime as needed occasional Saturdays
Swing Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM 1:00 AM
- Required overtime as needed occasional Saturdays
