Job Description
Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the technology industry to hire an experienced fulltime Sr. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. This role involves developing and executing automation strategies optimizing test frameworks and ensuring quality measures for web and cloudbased applications. What YOU will do
- Develop and execute test automation strategies using tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Implement and modify functional automated test frameworks to align with QA best practices.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues driving continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in Agile planning daily scrums and sprints to support project objectives.
- Leverage tools such as Visual Studio Test Professional Microsoft Test Manager Azure DevOps and TFS to manage test cycles.
- Execute functional nonfunctional and regression testing analyzing results to improve application quality.
- Document track and escalate issues using teh relevant tools while contributing to CI/CD pipeline enhancements.
- Perform periodic reviews of IT systems for compliance and assist with IT audit responses.
- Ensure compliance with IT SOPs and assist in drafting and revising departmental documentation.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
- 5 7 years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 3 years of handson QA automation using Selenium or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of QA engineering best practices and ability to avoid common pitfalls.
- Experience with functional automation frameworks and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Test Professional Azure DevOps Microsoft Test Manager TFS and SharePoint.
- Financial software knowledge is a plus.
- A selfstarter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and learn quickly.
