PAY RATE: $108.00 per hour

Summary:
This is a nonmanagerial nonleadership role focused on ensuring aerospace system safety and mission assurance throughout the program lifecycle.
Identify and assess safety risks to establish effective mitigation and control methods.
Research and analyze systems to investigate reported hazards and inservice fleet concerns quantifying impacts.
Address systemic root causes of safety issues and recommend corrective actions.
Work with internal and external teams to define validate and integrate safety mission success and airworthiness requirements into designs operations and procedures.
Support and influence the development of safety and mission assurance strategies.
Conduct and oversee tests analyses inspections audits and simulations to verify compliance with safety and mission assurance standards.
Ensure documentation meets regulatory and customer standards.
Create and maintain training materials tools and resources to support global aerospace safety initiatives.
Lead safety advocacy strategies and promote innovative methodologies to enhance system safety.
Execute Mission Assurance activities to ensure program success from development to delivery.
Develop and implement corrective action plans and demonstrate risk mitigation measures to customers and regulators.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement in SPEEArepresented location
Required Skills:
Advanced technical education in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry.
Bachelors degree with 14 years of experience or equivalent (Masters 12 years PhD 9 years).
ABET accreditation preferred but not required (USA).
Indepth knowledge of safety analysis risk assessment and hazard mitigation.
Expertise in conducting systemlevel research inspections and validation activities.
Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
