Job Description

Title: Engineering Assistant
Pay Rate: $16.00 $19.00/hour (Based on experience and education level)
Employment Type: Contract (TemptoPerm Potential)
Schedule: MondayThursday (9hour days) Friday (4hour day); Start times between 6:00 AM 7:30 AM (OT available)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Engineering Assistant to work onsite with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components company. This onsite role supports engineering and quality assurance functions with potential for transition to a permanent position based on performance and company needs. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and document First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports for review by Quality Assurance Engineers.
- Create First Article check sheets following Moog drawing package releases.
- Develop and revise Inspection Reports specific to unique products.
- Assist in drafting written procedures aligned with customer requirements under the direction of quality engineering staff.
- Accurately and legibly complete required paperwork for each part.
- Participate actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Support other duties as assigned to ensure team success.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or completion of a degree in Engineering or Physical Science.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a collaborative teamoriented attitude.
- Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel etc.)..
