Our client is the leader in residential technology integration bringing innovative and highperformance systems to homes across the Midwest. Their projects range from sophisticated home theaters to comprehensive smart home solutions. Their clients love their passion creativity and meticulous attention to detail.
Our client is seeking an extremely motivated and detailoriented Lead Technician to join their dynamic team. If you are motivated to grow your career they have a seat for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation:
- Review and understand your assigned work order each day asking relevant questions when necessary.
- Identify required tools and materials to complete each day s work.
- Organize and load your vehicle efficiently.
- Clockin accurately for each job using the companyprovided app.
Installation:
- Protect your work area from collateral damage.
- Perform prewiring in new construction buildings and retrofit wiring in existing buildings.
- Accurately mount trim and install various devices including:
- TVs projectors and theater screens
- Inceiling outdoor and bookshelf speakers
- Touchscreens iPads and lighting keypads
- Networking equipment (data jacks access points etc.)
- Motorized shades
- Cameras and doorbells
- Security and other home automation devices
- Golf simulators
Quality Control & Communication:
- Track completed and incomplete items each day and report back to your manager.
- Identify and rectify installation errors proactively.
- Fill out job tickets and provide relevant pictures and related information.
Requirements
- Passion for Technology: Must love technology and get geeked out by doing your job every day.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with Control Platforms and Networking: Proven experience with Savant and Lutron systems with a love for networking will set you apart.
- Construction Experience: Strong experience with construction and use of power tools.
- Home Automation Platforms: Experience with any home automation platform (Control4 Elan Savant Crestron Lutron) is preferred.
- High Energy and Attitude: A cando attitude with a positive demeanor.
- Excellence: Consistently strive for excellence in all aspects of the job.
- Communication and Education: Excellent communication skills with a willingness to educate team members and help develop their skills.

- Driver s License: Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $35.00 $50.00 per hour
