Beyond the School Leadership
Assist the Senior Vice Principal in creating strategies guidelines and programs to improve the Colleges capacity for education and student experience.
Lead intercollege thematic and policy projects when appropriate or take part in their creation and execution. Represent the school in relevant College Education & Student Experience Committees.
To serve as the main point of contact for the school regarding UG and PGT admissions marketing initiatives to aid in recruiting and access and participation plans.
Assist in the TEF configurationappropriate drafting of TEF submissions.
Establishing Facilitating Infrastructure
Create an efficient and cohesive school education team by developing and implementing the structure of roles supporting the leadership in education and student experience
Develop plans to meet staffing needs in education and make sure that the requirements for teaching and learning are formally embedded in all appointments.
Develop a positive student culture that encourages cocreation an effective student voice and the monitoring of the student journey from transition to employment to enhance the wider experience of all taught students in the school.
Lead the development and implementation of the education strategy in the school ensuring the excellence of outcomes. Manage the development of the academic portfolio in the school in accordance with the colleges strategy.
Act as the Committee Chair for School Education and Student Experience.
Effective Delivery
Coordinate the Schools educational provision ensuring consistency and seeking potential for synergies and efficiencies.
Improve education provision including pedagogy assessment strategies and learning cultures through policies projects and continuous improvement including enhanced CPD.
Oversee education quality assurance and standards including degree outcomes in accordance with external regulators and PSRBs. Ensure fair and equitable results and address awarding gaps.
Approve new course units and minor course amendments per college policies.
Assist the School Education Leads with the annual review of undergraduate/postgraduate teaching provision.
Lead the cyclical review of education provision in the school according to the College model.
Encourage constructive participation in emerging institutional and national frameworks and strategies for education.
School Executive Responsibilities
As part of the Schools leadership team drive change to achieve strategic objectives.
Foster collaborative working relationships particularly with central professional services departments and promote active engagement with college policy.
Share College and School strategies and relevant information with staff through cascades and engagement initiatives.
Lead effectively to foster a culture of fairness inclusion and diversity.
Build contacts and networks to promote the College School and Department aligning with the Colleges mission and goals.
Maintain an effective internal network of staff and students.
Requirements
Knowledge Education Qualifications and Training
Hold a Ph.D from a prestigious international institution in Economic Studies Social Science or a closely related field.
Experience
Exhibit a proven track record or strong potential for significant research achievements.
Successful academic track record demonstrated through promotion to Dean or Vice Dean at any pretigious universities.
Evidence of excellent budget and resource management.
Proven ability to manage disputes and resolve challenging circumstances.
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates strong leadership and persuasive skills at the senior level. Can operate independently and collaboratively with the school leadership team.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Excellent budgeting and resource management skills.
Effective team leadership involves fostering trust dedication and collegiality.

Education and Experience Master's degree from a reputable academic institution. Overseas education in an English-speaking country is prefered but not required. Minimum of 7 years' experience working in a respectable business environment, an international organization, or an academic institution with a track record of accomplishment in the workplace and collaboration with various stakeholders. Good knowledge of methods for engaging with the industry. Possess a large industrial network. strong familiarity with trends in a variety of industrial areas. Experience applying for jobs and internships, as well as providing guidance and mentoring, is advantageous. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, networking, and coordinating skills; strong communication abilities. Outstanding communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, both in writing and speaking. A strong focus on results, resilience, effective time management, and the capacity to multitask and work under pressure to fulfill deadlines. Able to deliver excellent account management and services to a broad range of stakeholders, including staff, students, alumni, employers, and college representatives. Have prior experience with a similar CRM system or career management platform is a plus.
