Job Preview:
This leadership position is critical to driving the companys logistics strategy optimizing supply chain operations and ensuring seamless coordination across global
and domestic networks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics management strategic planning and team leadership within the shipping and logistics industry.
Responsibility:
- Must be able to strategize and augment the position of the company by effectively administrating supervising & controlling the entire sphere of the logistics & supply chain activities providing end to end logistics solution to the clients including transportation custom clearance Air & Sea Freight Forwarding FCL LCL etc.
- Will be responsible for monitoring and achievement of targets in quantitative terms finalizing annual budgets monitoring performance against budgets on a regular basis for all the regions and commercial business development & operations for logistics business in India.
- Must be able to lead guide and evaluate the functional teams commercial operations customer service & documentation claims prevention administration accounts contract negotiations cost control & staff management.
- Will be responsible for the PnL of the Company.
Education: MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 18 years of experience in logistics supply chain management or shipping with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of shipping industry trends regulations and technologies.
Skills:
o Strategic planning and problemsolving abilities.
o Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
o Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
