Job Description
Are you a skilled AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer looking for an exciting contract role in a dynamic environment We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a forwardthinking team on a contractual basis. This position is based onsite in Irvine or Los Angeles and offers a contract duration of 9 12 months.
Role Overview: As an AWS DevOps/Platform Engineer you will play a key role in designing and implementing solutions using cuttingedge cloud technologies. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations efficient data processing and robust infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage AWS services such as IAM EKS S3 and Hive/Glue Catalog and Azure services like ADLS AKS and Synapse.
- Work with Apache Spark to process and analyze large datasets.
- Develop and deploy solutions using intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
- Design and optimize Datawarehouse solutions with strong knowledge of Fact/Dimension modeling and SQLbased ETL processes.
- Utilize batch orchestration tools like Apache Airflow for efficient workflow automation.
- Implement InfrastructureasCode (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Manage version control and deployment pipelines with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Engage collaboratively with clients and team members to ensure project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Handson experience with Apache Spark and Python programming.
- Proficiency in Datawarehouse modeling ETL and SQL.
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Git for deployment and version control.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
Application Details: This is an onsite position in Irvine or Los Angeles. The contract duration is 9 12 months.
This role is a contract role the successful candidate will be paid per hour.
