Job Summary: One of our clients is looking for a skilled and passionate Cloud Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure ensuring high performance scalability and security. Your role will involve designing deploying and maintaining cloud solutions that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and implement cloud strategies to support business objectives.
- Ensure the availability performance scalability and security of cloud systems.
- Automate cloud operations using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Monitor cloud environments and respond to incidents and outages efficiently.
- Optimize costs and resources for efficient cloud operations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications and systems.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
- Document cloud infrastructure and operational processes for reference and training.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services (e.g. compute storage networking databases).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
