What Youll Do
As a key member of our engineering team you will:
- Design and Analyze Foundations: Develop and optimize designs for concrete piers slabs grade beams retaining walls and helical piles.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all designs meet building codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate and Resolve: Work closely with project managers to address field issues and streamline foundation design processes.
- Support Sales Efforts: Provide accurate foundation quotes and technical guidance.
- Perform Structural Calculations: Conduct detailed structural analyses and draft precise specifications.
- Review and Refine Drawings: Create and meticulously review foundation drawings to guarantee accuracy and clarity.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 5 years of foundation design experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD with experience in tools like RISA RAM or HILTI preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of geotechnical reports and anchorage design principles.
- Skills: Exceptional multitasking project management and communication abilities.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain one.
