Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
- Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
- Drive the design implementation and management for expanding observability infrastructure keeping up to date with new technologies
- Lead sustainable incident response blameless postmortems and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
- Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design implement and maintain multiple business offerings
- Automate deployment scaling and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
- Monitor and optimize system performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Manage and secure cloudbased environments (AWS)
- Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
- Periodical OnCall responsibility alongside your fellow team members
- Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE
Required Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in AWS and Jenkins.
- Handson scripting experience with Python.
- Expert experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Artifactory and Git.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services (e.g. EC2 RDS S3 Bucket CDK API Gateway).
- Strong experience in DevOps and web servicebased systems engineering.
- Expert experience with infrastructureascode tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation templates (CFTs).
- Good working knowledge of Serverless technologies (e.g. Lambda Serverless Framework).
- Strong experience with Release Management testing deployment and software support.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- AWS Certification is desirable.
