Job Title : DBA SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Exp : 5 to 9yrs
Work Type : Full Time

Location : Gurgaon
Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days
Budget : Upto 25 LPA
Technical Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in database administration with a focus on SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of database concepts including relational database design normalization and indexing.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and scripting languages (e.g. TSQL PL/pgSQL).
- Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools (e.g. SQL Server Profiler pgstatstatements).
- Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with database replication clustering and high availability configurations.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or PostgreSQL Certification are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL database systems.
- Ensure the availability reliability and performance of database systems through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Perform database backups restores and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Design and implement database security measures including user access controls encryption and data masking.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues including query optimization and index tuning.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas stored procedures and functions.
- Implement and maintain database replication clustering and high availability solutions.
- Conduct regular patching and upgrades of database software to ensure security and stability.
- Create and maintain documentation of database configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to developers and other stakeholders on databaserelated issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in database administration and advocate for their adoption when applicable.
- Participate in oncall rotation for afterhours support and maintenance tasks.
