ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate with to join our International Trade group. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex U.S. international trade and trade remedy matters contributing to a team of seasoned professionals in a dynamic legal environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle U.S. international trade and trade remedy matters including antidumping and countervailing duty (ADCVD) cases safeguard actions customs compliance and investigations under Sections 232 and 301.
- Advise on compliance with the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and other traderelated regulations.
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to provide strategic advice and solutions.
- Draft clear and persuasive legal documents including briefs memoranda and correspondence.
- Collaborate with clients colleagues and regulatory authorities to resolve complex traderelated issues effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 25 years of relevant experience handling U.S. international trade and trade remedy matters.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Detailoriented with a high degree of professionalism.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required.
