Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager (PMP)(US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans schedules and resource allocation strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Lead crossfunctional teams ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Assign tasks monitor progress and foster collaboration among team members.
- Provide regular coaching and mentorship to team members to achieve high performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status risks and updates effectively through reports and presentations.
- Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering valuedriven outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and issues analyze their impact and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and resolve project conflicts and roadblocks proactively.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational objectives.
- Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring cost efficiency.
- Track expenses and report on project financials regularly.
- Apply Agile Scrum or traditional SDLC methodologies based on project requirements.
- Facilitate sprint planning retrospectives and daily standups for Agile projects.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in managing projects in diverse industries.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall).
- Exceptional leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- ExperienceFamiliarity with specific industry/domain expertise e.g. IT construction healthcare etc..
- Advanced certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist.
- Experience with enterprise tools like Microsoft Dynamics TFS or SharePoint.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
