Job Description
Job Title: senior web programmer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design code test debug and document web applications using modern web technologies.
- Implement responsive and userfriendly designs that align with project requirements.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance scalability and security.
- Work closely with project managers designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide estimates and timelines for development tasks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure efficient team collaboration.
- Guide and mentor junior developers to improve their technical skills.
- Review code for accuracy security and adherence to best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing web applications.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends.
- Recommend and implement best practices and tools to improve development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript Python PHP Ruby or Java.
- Experience with frontend technologies like HTML5 CSS3 React Angular or Vue.js.
- Expertise in backend frameworks such as Node.js Django Ruby on Rails or .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL NoSQL) and ORM tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with web security practices (e.g. OWASP guidelines).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
