Job Description
Job Title: PeopleSoft Financial Architect (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of PeopleSoft Financials solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for PeopleSoft implementations upgrades and optimizations.
- Develop comprehensive system designs roadmaps and solution blueprints.
- Configure and customize PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Management and Commitment Control.
- Ensure seamless integration of PeopleSoft Financials with other systems leveraging tools such as Integration Broker and APIs.
- Oversee data migration and validation efforts during implementations or upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance reliability and usability.
- Recommend and implement automation to enhance efficiency in financial processes.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Partner with business users functional consultants and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development and functional teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation including functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate training sessions for users and technical teams to promote adoption of new features and processes.
- Provide technical support for daytoday PeopleSoft Financials operations.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for system issues and defects.
- Stay current on PeopleSoft updates patches and new features applying them as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Accounting or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials implementations and support.
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Financials modules (e.g. GL AP AR AM).
- Proven experience as a solution architect in PeopleSoft environments.
- Proficiency with PeopleTools Application Designer Integration Broker and Query Manager.
- Knowledge of SQL PeopleCode SQR and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with cloudhosted PeopleSoft solutions is a plus.
- Experience with middleware and integration technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Certification in PeopleSoft Financials or related modules.
- Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for system implementation.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
