Job Description
Job Title: Datawarehouse Developer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain data warehouse architecture including schemas tables views and indexes.
- Develop ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse:
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models to support analytical needs.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
- Work with business analysts stakeholders and endusers to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Partner with data engineers and database administrators to maintain data quality and ensure integrity.
- Monitor troubleshoot and improve the performance of ETL processes and database queries.
- Perform database tuning and ensure efficient data loads and retrievals.
- Document data warehouse processes models and solutions for reference and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or Qlik).
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Experience in data warehouse development or a related field.
- Proven experience with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend SSIS).
- Proficiency in database technologies (e.g. SQL Server Oracle MySQL Snowflake or Redshift).
- Strong SQL and scripting skills for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g. ERwin Toad or similar).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse AWS Redshift Google BigQuery).
- Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Certification in data warehousing or BI tools.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or Java for data processing.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
