Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team and play a critical role in developing backend solutions for our financial applications and APIs. This role primarily involves backend development (8090%) with Angular JS experience being a nicetohave. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor working within a team setting tasked with designing and coding custombuilt solutions leveraging Enterprise Java technologies and related frameworks.
Responsibilities
Design and develop highquality custombuilt solutions using Enterprise Java technologies and frameworks.
Work on the development of financial applications and APIs focusing mainly on backend development.
Write and execute unit tests to ensure applications meet requirements.
Integrate technical and application components to meet business needs.
Participate in product ideation discussions and develop proofs of concept (PoCs) from end to end.
Conduct assessments for technology tools and platforms demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Contribute to the Agile and DevOps processes within the team ensuring efficient project delivery.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in Java development and architecture.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
Familiarity with common microservices patterns and containers.
Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Proficiency in Angular JS is advantageous.
Knowledge in security testing and continuous integration.
Experience within the banking and financial services industry is highly desirable.
Ability to quickly learn new platforms tools and technologies.
Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
