We are hiring a Senior Medical Scientist Blood bank in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities
Perform any essential task within the ISO15189 quality system as needed.
Keep abreast with advances in your field of expertise.
Throughout the hospital keep in mind that the patient comes first in all medical operations.
Take part in creating the blood transfusion program to satisfy our patients clinical requirements while making sure it aligns with the hospitals mission vision values and strategic plan.
Help with the departments employees training so they can provide both normal and oncall services.
Engage in stem cell collecting processing storage and transplantationrelated tasks.
In order to maximize resource utilization take part in the execution of operational procedures in accordance with best practice standards.
Engage in and advocate for ongoing education initiatives that align with the hospitals principles.
Encourage candid conversations across the hospital.
Requirements
The post holder must have: include reference to CORU registration.
Possess the credentials listed in the HSE Eligibility Criteria dated 02/04/2020 that have been approved by the Department of Health.
Hold an Academy of Medical Sciences fellowship.
At least four years of postqualification experience as a medical scientist working in a stem cell or blood transfusion laboratory
The position holder should ideally have experience working in an accredited laboratory.
