Job Description
- Perform detailed assessments to evaluate speech language and swallowing capabilities.
- Design and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to individual needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with clients caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to establish and achieve therapy milestones.
- Inform clients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders providing practical strategies for improvement.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to remain informed about emerging trends and techniques in speechlanguage pathology.
- Record and manage comprehensive documentation including evaluation reports therapy plans progress updates and billing records.
- Deliver therapy to address a range of communication and swallowing challenges including articulation issues language impairments fluency disorders voice problems and dysphagia.
Requirements
- Hold ASHA certification to be considered.
- A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
- Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Florida is necessary.
