Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to design analyze and implement hydraulic systems and solutions. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams conducting assessments and ensuring compliance with Australian industry standards. This position requires expertise in hydraulic calculations system optimization and technical support throughout project phases from design to commissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive engineering designs and solutions.
- Conduct assessments and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Design and analyze hydraulic systems including pipelines storm water management systems and irrigation networks.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans drawings and specifications using industrystandard software.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Participate in project meetings presentations and client interactions to communicate progress and address concerns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Hydraulic Engineering or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and HECRAS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and optimize designs.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards regulations and best practices.
