Senior IT Project Manager (Agile)
We have an open role in the insurance industry reporting to the Director Agile Delivery Excellence. This position involves leading teams to deliver impactful projects across multiple business units. The successful candidate will bring exceptional organizational and communication skills building strong relationships while managing complex IT projects with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. What is in it for you:
Salaried: $80 to $85 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $95 to $100 per hour.
7month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule: 9 am to 5 pm with flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities:
Develop strong relationships with teams vendors and clients through clear communication and successful project execution.
Manage project changes risks issues and actions to adapt to evolving project scopes and requirements.
Create detailed work plans including schedules estimates and resource plans aligning with compliance standards.
Oversee project budgets and artifacts ensuring audit compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and report project outcomes providing transparency and alignment with stakeholders; deliver steering committee presentations to executive audiences.
Identify and resolve challenges affecting project progress and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
What you will need to succeed:
5 to 8 years of experience managing largescale projects across multiple business units with expertise in Waterfall methodologies.
Proven track record of delivering complex datafocused IT projects.
Experience with data analytics business intelligence or data warehouse projects.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe Scrum or Kanban and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated success in stakeholder management balancing priorities among internal and external parties.
Strong interpersonal negotiation and influencing skills to navigate complex organizational structures.
Leadership capabilities with strategic direction and mentoring experience.
Robust decisionmaking critical thinking and organizational skills.
Adaptability and resilience to manage change and promote wellbeing within teams.
Experience in regulated environments such as finance or insurance is essential.
Preferred: Project management certifications (e.g. PMP).
