Job Description:
- Good understanding of Mainframe system including COBOL JCL VSAM etc
- Minimum 68 years of experience in Mainframe technology
- Organizational and team leader skills The ability to investigate and identify trends Knowledge of process improvement and validation
- should be able to guide others and work closely with the team and take responsibily to deliver the client requirement
- able to estimate the work and review capacity planning
- STRONG knowledge in IDMSdatabase and ADSOonline is a MUST Good understanding of database structure like schema etc
- Should be good in analyzing the flowInput Output of mainframe jobprogram and document them as well as deliverables
- Should be able to backtrack the jobprograms to find the root cause of issue
- Should be aware about various tools used in mainframe idmsadso for eg OLQ DMLO ADSC MAPC IDD etc
- Discuss understand and analyze the project client requirements
- have experience in handling production support to handle various production job abends Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve the technical issues
- Closely work with project teams to design code and test the deliverables
- Able to manage the SLA provided for the task
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills Should be good in documentation as well
- Good to have Knowledge on ServiceNow ticketing tool
- Experience in mainframe migration will be added advantage
- Proactive approach and team player Able to work independently and as team player as well based on need
- Willing and able to learn the business and fully understand how and why tasks satisfy business needs
- Collaborate with business users to get UAT feedback and approval to proceed with production deployment
- Address the production issues based on their severity and impact on end users by following the agreed timelines
- Problem solving skills analytical skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative
- Ability to hold discussions with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Act as a key contact with customers
