Salary:
Work Life Balance:Hybrid with travel to offices when required this includes Northampton London and Crawley.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Trading Manager to join our Growth team and drive our commercial trading activities across Avanti Go Big Blue Insurefor and other brands distributed via major price comparison websites.
Role Overview: As a Commercial Trading Manager you will oversee and manage the commercial trading activities aiming to drive profitable growth and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in the companys success contributing to strategic decisionmaking and ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial trading performance.
- Create and test initiatives to improve commercial performance.
- Develop a trading approach effective for seasonal and key trading periods throughout the year.
- Collaborate with Digital and Marketing teams to create a unified view of the customer.
- Recognise customer needs and bring them to life.
- Analyse current performance market trends and consumer trends to inform strategy.
- Identify gaps in current commercial modelling and ensure robust daily and monthly reporting.
- Communicate data insights with operations marketing and product teams to support positive ROI.
- Understand potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial minded individual to join our new Challenger Brands tribe.These brands acquired through Payingtoomuch and Rock have a combined customer base of 1.3 million.
You will be part of a small but rich culture tribe starting with 45 people and managing around 30 stakeholders. You will have high expectations to aggressively trade these brands and optimise pricing practices to leverage our marketleading position for optimal conversion.
Essential Skills:
- Commercially astute with strong financial skills.
- Ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working.
- Strong and articulate communicator capable of working at SLT level.
- Previous experience in Commercial Management.
- Confident in developing and leading a team.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders.
- Understanding of an agile environment with squads and tribes.
- Passionate about figures and data with a focus on pricing optimisation.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in an agile environment with squads and tribes.
- Background in insurance or aggregator industries.
- Familiarity with AI and conversational AI.
- Understanding of digital adoption and operational cost management.
