Job Description
Are you ready to lead the scaleup of an education startup as our CTO and drive meaningful impact for our society
Eduquant is an OnlineTutoring Startup based in Zurich that tailors tutoring specifically to a universitys curriculum.
We go beyond the matchmaking between tutors and students and offer all the tools and resources needed for weekly lessons.
After successfully completing the MVP phase we are prepared to scale Eduquant to a global provider for education! In addition being able to leverage all the knowledge that is generated in each lesson is a unique opportunity to accelerate in the AI age!
We are looking for a CTO that will take on this challenge to scale the current tech and is not afraid of becoming the innovative leader in the education space! Lets put our efforts skills and knowledge into where humanity benefits the most education!
Tasks
You will be responsible for leading the technology strategy and development of Eduquant. You will decide on the tech stack define the architecture plan the roadmap and hire talent. In short you will:
- Lead manage and mentor teams that build scale and maintain the core components of the Eduquant platform
- Adapt and define the architecture and tech stack necessary for scalability
- Continue to build and elevate the culture of an impactful technology company
- Be handson for example by coding yourself providing feedback on pull requests or setting the CI/CD framework
- Oversee makeorbuy and architectural decisions
- Contribute to recruiting hiring and retaining the best talent
- Develop track and control the budgets for the different development teams
Requirements
- You have experience in building and leading a Tech Team or you have built a Tech venture
- Bachelors Degree or above in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or similar
- Strong Technical Background: Extensive experience as a fullstack engineer proficient in both frontend and backend technologies.
- Expertise in Knowledge Graphs and development of AIdriven agents
- Deep knowledge of agile/ modern software development methodologies technologies and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Strong intrinsic motivation
