Job Description
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Leeds MA 01053
Duration: 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)
Start date: Feb 2025
Shift Schedule: 40 hrs /week

Qualifications
Experience: 3 years of recent Phlebotomy experience
Certifications: Phlebotomist Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certifications: Phlebotomist Basic Life Support (BLS)
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection using venipuncture understanding test requirements and patient preparation.
- Obtain patient specimens for laboratory testing including blood cultures and compatibility samples.
- Accession receive and transport samples to the lab including those requiring special handling.
Instruct patients on proper collection methods for 24hour urine and other homecollected samples. - Provide general clerical support manage laboratory orders patient information and phone inquiries.
- Stock and maintain specialized supplies for the drawing area and ensure effective customer relations.
