Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Python API Developer to design and implement scalable and secure API solutions. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with AWS services and a strong background in Python development for APIs. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure robust application performance and meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain APIs on AWS using best practices.
- Build scalable and efficient RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to gather API requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct unit testing and optimize API performance and functionality.
- Implement security protocols for data transfer and cloud infrastructure.
- Perform code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Design and deploy API solutions using AWS services like Lambda API Gateway EC2 S3 DynamoDB and RDS.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform for deployments.
- Optimize API architecture for performance scalability and cost efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python with experience in API development (RESTful GraphQL).
- Strong expertise in AWS services (Lambda API Gateway S3 DynamoDB IAM).
- Handson experience with tools like Postman Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Kafka and monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or AWS CloudWatch is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in API development on AWS using Python.
