Job Description
- PLC Programming:
Develop and test PLC programs: Write modify and debug programs for various types of PLCs (like Siemens Allen Bradley Mitsubishi etc.) to automate machinery and industrial processes.
Design logic diagrams: Create and interpret control logic diagrams and electrical schematics to ensure system operation as intended.

- Maintenance:
Routine maintenance of PLC systems: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on PLC hardware and software to avoid unplanned downtimes.
PLC hardware troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair PLC hardware issues such as input/output (I/O) module failures or communication problems.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work with crossfunctional teams: Collaborate with electrical engineers mechanical engineers and production teams to optimize automated systems and ensure smooth operation.
Training and support: Provide training and technical support to maintenance staff and operators on the proper use and troubleshooting of PLC systems.
- Safety and Compliance:
Ensure safety standards: Ensure all programming and maintenance tasks adhere to industry safety standards and regulations (e.g. ISO OSHA).
Emergency troubleshooting: Be available for urgent troubleshooting during breakdowns or emergencies ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Continuous Improvement:
Process optimization: Continuously look for ways to improve the performance of the PLC system through program enhancements hardware updates or system upgrades.
Monitor system performance: Analyse data from PLC systems to predict potential issues and improve process efficiency.
