Job Description

This is a remote position.

Mamann Sandaluk LLP is a fullservice immigration law firm in downtown Toronto specializing in Canadian immigration. Mamann Sandaluk LLP is a very wellestablished law firm for over 36 years with a national and international reputation for excellence in the field of immigration.


We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing immigration practice.


Job Description:


  • Printing scanning photocopying faxing and saving client documents;
  • Preparing courier envelopes and labels and if required assisting with tracking courier deliveries;
  • Assisting with collation and preparation of files for submission;
  • Conducting basic research
  • Performing other administrative tasks as may be allocated;
  • Conducting conflict and independence checks on clients as requested;
  • Preparing billing requests as directed by the Consultants Paralegals and/or Lawyers.
  • Answering and delegating telephone calls
  • provide support with a variety of cases including permanent and temporary residence applications such as Spousal Sponsorship Parental Sponsorships Express Entry Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) work permits study permits Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA) Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) applications Temporary Resident Permits (TRP) and citizenship applications.


Requirements

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • One to two years of experience in Canadian immigration processing
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills in English
