Job Description
As a Systems and Control Engineer you will:- Develop models of home energy products including HVAC components and batteries
- Design state estimators to track the home energy ecosystem in realtime
- Create algorithms for home energy management balancing comfort efficiency and reliability
- Implement lowlevel controls for rapidprototyping of control algorithms
- Collaborate on test setups and optimal sensor placements
- Develop and update simulation environments
- Work in crossfunctional teams to integrate modeling and control algorithms
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Software Control Systems Engineering or related field
- 4 years of working experience in systems control energy management or related field
- Expertise in developing models for control
- Proficiency in Python
- Understanding of control theory principles for home energy management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow

This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam.

A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in the use of SolidWorks for mechanical design. Previous experience with cooling technologies is advantageous.
