Job Description
On behalf of one of our clients we are seeking a Systems and Control Engineer to join their innovative team in Amsterdam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable home energy solutions and make a real impact on climate change.
Job Description
As a Systems and Control Engineer you will:- Develop models of home energy products including HVAC components and batteries
- Design state estimators to track the home energy ecosystem in realtime
- Create algorithms for home energy management balancing comfort efficiency and reliability
- Implement lowlevel controls for rapidprototyping of control algorithms
- Collaborate on test setups and optimal sensor placements
- Develop and update simulation environments
- Work in crossfunctional teams to integrate modeling and control algorithms
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Software Control Systems Engineering or related field
- 4 years of working experience in systems control energy management or related field
- Expertise in developing models for control
- Proficiency in Python
- Understanding of control theory principles for home energy management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow

Additional Information
This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam.
If you have a similar background or experience in systems and control engineering we encourage you to apply. You might also be suitable for some of our other vacancies from other clients or you can send us your CV as an open application.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in the use of SolidWorks for mechanical design. Previous experience with cooling technologies is advantageous. A creative, entrepreneurial spirit, with a knack for problem-solving. If you have a similar background but do not meet all the above qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.
