Job Description
- Manage equipment inventory
- Monitor and followup on Long Stay Containers to reduce turnaround time
- Coordinate empty repositioning of containers especially within Malaysia ports
- Coordinate and manage maintenance and repair of damaged containers
- Involve in cost recoveries initiatives and activities
- Manage leasing of containers
- Prepare reports
- Process work orders and invoices
- Provide Terminal or Authorities timely data submissions
- Manage marine cargo claims
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
- At least 3 years of experience in similar field
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Good team player
- Sound shipping knowledge especially in equipment and maintenancerepair
- Exposure in handling Port Authorities
- Analytical skill
- Ability to resolve problems
- Familiar with MS Office Applications and Port Systems
- Good understanding of Maritime Law proven exposure is an advantage
