The Opportunity:
Our Client seeks a midto senior level associate to join its national Labor & Employment Department in the Boston office. The ideal candidate will have four to seven years of employment law experience representing employers in employment litigation before both state and federal agencies and courts. Seeking an attorney with the ability to providing practical and comprehensive advice and counseling on employment related matters for businesses of every size.
A working knowledge of Massachusetts employment issues is required including; antidiscrimination statutes wage and hour paid family and medical leave unemployment and noncompete laws. Experience with complex collective actions involving Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) claims and commensurate state law class wage and hour claims is a plus as well as extensive experience researching and briefing employment law issues. Experience handling business disputes noncompete litigation and employmentrelated disputes is expected. Candidates must demonstrate excellent writing and oral advocacy skills as well as the ability to perform appropriate tasks with minimal supervision. An active MA license in good standing required.
