Job Description
Job Title: Senior Expert Administrator HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI)
Role: Design implement and manage HCI environments
Focus: VMware HCI HyperV Nutanix and associated automation and monitoring tools
Main Responsibilities:
Lead HCI solutions design and deployment
Implement high availability disaster recovery and data protection solutions
Utilize VMware vRealize suite for automation and monitoring
Develop and manage workflow automation scripts
Optimize system performance
Configure and manage monitoring systems
Diagnose and resolve issues across VMware Nutanix and HyperV environments
Ensure HCI solutions adhere to security best practices and industry regulations
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver optimized HCI solutions
Mentor junior administrators on HCI best practices
Maintain documentation on processes configurations and infrastructure standards
Qualifications:
7 years in IT infrastructure
35 years focused on HCI and virtualization
Proficiency in scripting for automation
Experience with vROps vRA and other monitoring solutions
Familiarity with network and storage concepts as they apply to HCI environments
Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
Work Environment:
May require oncall responsibilities for afterhours support.
