Job description:
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the client head of quality to outline strategic direction goals and initiatives aligning with overall Quality Engineering (QE) objectives.
Roadmap Development: Develop and establish a comprehensive QE roadmap to enhance testing practices throughout the enterprise
Test Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient test architecture incorporation frameworks tools and methodologies to support testing across the organization.
Collaboration with Platform Squads: Work collaboratively with various client platform squads to integrate quality engineers ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to software testing.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within testing workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Tool and Technology Evaluation: Evaluate testing tools and technologies integrating them into the testing process to enhance capabilities and overall efficiency.
Guidance and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to squads ensuring they acquire the necessary testing skills techniques and knowledge for effective testing practicees.
Assist squads on implementing the TAF for insprint automation and automated regression testing
Evangelize QE processes & value in an agile software environment by elevating visibility of testing where the entire squad weighs in on test strategies
Have worked on RFP/Proposals in different domains with Automation as main focus
Have extensive knowledge on GenAI AI/ML. Capable enough to speak on these models with Test Automation as focus
Qualifications:
Atleast 1416 years of experience as an enterprise automation architect or majorly being in the automation space similar role in a largescale enterprise environment.
Indepth knowledge of testing methodologies tools and best practices.
Stakeholder management strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse platform squads.
Knowledge of working with technologies viz. Selenium Python JAVA SQL database testIng API testing and load/performance testing
Experience in designing and implementing scalable test architectures.
Past experience developing updating and maintaining test automation frameworks
Familiarity with emerging technologies in software testing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing testing best practices.
