Job Description
Role Overview:
- Collaborate with other members of the perioperative healthcare team
- Deliver comprehensive care to surgical patients across the lifespan
- Ensure the delivery of outstanding care and cultivate an environment that centers on the needs of patients and their families
Key Qualifications:
- Current New York State (NYS) RN license/registration
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia training program and certification
- CRNA experience preferred
Core Skills:
- Must possess a strong foundation in anesthesia principles pharmacology and patient assessment to provide safe and effective anesthesia care.
- Critical Thinking and DecisionMaking: be adept at assessing complex situations analyzing data and making quick informed decisions to ensure patient safety during anesthesia administration.
- Effective communication skills are crucial to collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists nurses and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Work in fastpaced and unpredictable environments requiring them to be adaptable and flexible in responding to changing patient needs emergencies and evolving clinical situations.
