Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join the team at an Acute Hospital in San Antonio TX. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise daily operations of the pharmacy department including staff scheduling inventory management and budgeting.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations including maintaining accurate records and overseeing controlled substances.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Train and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure highquality service and adherence to best practices.
Stay uptodate on industry developments and incorporate new technologies and processes into the pharmacy department.
Handle any patient or staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Current pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations and best practices in pharmacy operations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software.
