Senior Angular JS Developer (Hybrid)
Location TorontoON (the Client expects that the Candidate will be visiting the office 4 days per week)
Description
We are seeking a talented Angular JS Developer to join our dynamic team in the capital markets industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing scalable web applications using Angular JS along with a solid understanding of AWS and web services. You will be working alongside our product development team to enhance and maintain our existing applications while also contributing to the design and implementation of new features. This role requires working in an Agile or rapid application development environment where you will engage in continuous collaboration with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software solutions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is essential as you will be expected to improve deployment processes and ensure smooth integration of code changes. As a key player in our project delivery your input will directly influence performance reliability and user experience. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular JS and integrate with AWS services.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project scopes and deliverables.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for efficient code delivery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance ensuring the highest quality of user experience.
- Document development processes code changes and technical specifications for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Angular JS Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and web services architecture.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with Agile or rapid application development methodologies.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS with a focus on building responsive web applications.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
