Job Description

Position: Test Engineer (specializing in electronics not software or QA)
Location: Greater Plano TX area 5 days onsite work required
Job type: 6 month contract to hire or longterm contractor
Domain: Electronics
Visa: All types accepted (C2C/W2)
Interview process: 1st round on Teams 2nd round onsite (if local) or virtual (if nonlocal)
Requirement: 7 years of relevant experience
Duties: Testing PCBA toplevel assembly using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes automated testing systems developing and executing test plans for manufacturing processes Statistical Process Control conducting root cause analysis for test failures in a production setting working with crossfunctional teams to resolve testing issues performing reliability testing on testers/products
Role: Developing implementing and maintaining incircuit test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of electronic products
Key responsibilities include designing and developing incircuit test strategies and fixtures for PCB assemblies creating and maintaining test plans specifications and documentation collaborating with design engineers to identify test requirements and improve testability.
