Job Description
My client is seeking an Experienced Data Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from dimensional models and SQL databases to address business challenges and translate these insights into Power BI reports. Additionally the role involves building expertise in the business domain to validate that the necessary data is available in the dimensional model and structured correctly.
Context
The role involves processing data via messages to an Azure data platform where it is further transformed into a star schema model for reporting in Power BI.
The key deliverables include:
- Providing business users with data products to visualize and analyze project progress.
- Developing a supportive component for the existing quality assurance system. This includes implementing a machine learning project to identify lowquality asbestos inventories for indepth review by external certification bodies.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from SQL and dimensional models to solve business problems.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support decisionmaking.
- Validate and ensure the quality and relevance of data in the dimensional model.
- Gain deep knowledge of the business domain to improve datadriven solutions.

- Proven experience in database optimization and query tuning.
- Proven experience in analyzing data flows.
- Demonstrated expertise in reporting tools and methods.
- Handson experience with databases (SQL Oracle).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell Perl Python).
- Dutch language proficiency at CEFR level C2.
