Job Description
Dream Nannies is seeking a warm energetic and nurturing nanny to join a loving family near Smyrna. This position is for the care of their sweet 6monthold son and will begin as soon as possible continuing through May. The family is looking for someone experienced in fostering early childhood development and who can assist with milestones while addressing some of his current challenges.
Their little one is a happy cuddly baby who enjoys stroller rides outdoor time and one on one care. He is teething and currently struggling with sleep often waking when trying to put him down. The family is looking for a nanny to help with this transition working on a consistent nap schedule (typically two hours up two hours down followed by three hours up three hours down). The nanny will also support his development through activities such as tummy time sitting up and engaging in interactive play. He is currently eating purees and the family would like to begin incorporating solids with an interest in babyled weaning but are open to other approaches. They would love a nanny who can read books sing dance narrate daily tasks and take him on walks or outings to nearby parks and the library which hosts a story time perfect for his age. A family car is available for short trips to these activities.
The ideal nanny will have a warm lively and nurturing personality and enjoy being silly singing dancing and providing a highenergy engaging environment. The family values someone independent who can take the lead in consoling and entertaining their son without micromanagement. Light household tasks including washing bottles baby laundry tidying baby spaces and unloading the dishwasher will be part of the role if time permits.
The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with occasional flexibility for later evenings and date nights. Compensation is $25 per hour.
