Job Summary
To manage drive payments through creative sustainable strategies and ecosystem partnerships that align with the Bank s emerging payments vision; with customerfocused offering insights that solve customers business problems while delivering growth and earnings to the bank.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership direction and continually enhance team performance to achieve quality customer service delivery.
- Continually develop strategies that will build customers loyalty in adopting the banks as the source of all their payment needs; while generating consistent value volume and revenue growth significantly faster than market development.
- Drive payments innovations through deep analysis of industry trends emerging technologies and business model revolution.
- Define and analyze new payments focused product opportunities: lead market research outline requirements develop product concepts conduct competitive analysis and develop business case recommendations.
- Disseminate information on all new payments guideline and ensure effective/efficient implementation of bank wide policies with respect to epayment.
- Interact with key customers to help determine appropriate payments features need that will enhance business value to customers and usage.
- Conduct periodic review of Payment product while identifying areas of improvement and implementing the necessary changes.
- Joint call with relationship managers in engaging customers for proper profiling providing clarification on features and taking their feedback.
- Track new product features usage traffic through data analysis profitability and drive initiatives that reduce cost.
- Serve as a primary point of contact to target companies and engaging at very senior levels by guiding executives for tactical execution of their payments.
- Report and update Management on status developments impacts and required needs for performance enhancements.
- Match customers needs with product capabilities through presentation of tailored demonstrations and proposals.
- Attend to adhoc assignments as it may be required by the directorate
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum education level A good first degree in any discipline a master s degree will be an added advantage
- A minimum of eight (8) years experience in a bank / financial institution with the last six (6) in Transactions processing and Management.
