Currently based in Melbourne we are expanding nationally and will be opening a new showroom in Sydney in the coming months. Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 10 AM to 5 PM AEST (8 AM to 3 PM PHT)
- Saturday: 11 AM to 5 PM AEST (9 AM to 3 PM PHT)
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee key aspects of our order processing logistics and team management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can ensure operational excellence drive process improvements and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will take on a higher level of responsibility supervising a small team while also performing handson operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead mentor and supervise a small team of operations staff
- Assign tasks set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
- Provide guidance and support to team members ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
- Foster a positive and productive work environment promoting teamwork and continuous improvement

Order Management and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the entire order processing workflow ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to minimize errors in order processing shipping and customer communication
- Personally handle complex or highpriority orders to ensure flawless execution
- Conduct regular audits of order processing procedures and implement corrective actions as needed

Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Continuously analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency
- Develop and implement new standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize crossfunctional processes and enhance overall business performance

Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order processing shipping and customer satisfaction
- Analyze data to identify trends bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive strategic decisionmaking

Customer Service Excellence:
- Oversee customer service operations ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle escalated customer issues personally providing solutions and maintaining positive relationships
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience

Supplier and Courier Relationship Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers and courier partners
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal performance and costeffectiveness
- Regularly evaluate supplier and courier performance addressing any issues promptly

Ecommerce Platform Management:
- Oversee the use of the Shopify platform ensuring it is optimized for efficient order processing and management
- Stay updated on new features and integrations that could benefit the companys operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in ecommerce operations management preferably in the furniture or luxury goods industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a small team
- Strong background in process improvement and implementing operational best practices
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify and other ecommerce management tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret complex data reports
- Superior problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Experience in managing supplier and courier relationships
- Proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field
- Ability to work independently and lead a remote team effectively
