Qualifications :
Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in accounts payable bookkeeping or related roles is generally preferred.
- Familiarity with general cashier and accounts payable processes including invoice processing payment disbursement and ledger reconciliation.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in processing payments and identifying discrepancies.
- Numerical and Analytical Skills: Comfortable with numbers and performing reconciliations.
- Organization and Time Management: Ability to handle a large volume of transactions and meet payment deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Liaising with vendors and internal teams and resolving discrepancies.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Familiarity with VAT tax and other legal implications of payables.
