Retail Assistant Manager Meath
Blue Forge Recruitment is proud to partner with a wellestablished Irishowned retail group known for its extensive network of nonfood seasonal and homeware retail superstores located across the country.
As part of their continued growth and ambitious plans to dominate the seasonal and gift ware markets our client is seeking a number of Assistant Managers to join their team. They are looking for retail managers who are passionate peoplefocused leaders who can inspire and motivate teams around them salesdriven and passionate about exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements for this Assistant Manager job:
- Previous experience in a customerfacing retail environment.
- Background in sectors such as bigbox grocery nonfood DIY homewares or clothing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail and performance.
- Flexibility to work shifts around closing and opening hours Monday to Sunday rational roster 9 am 9pm
Responsibilities for this Assistant Manager job
- Ensure new and existing plans procedures and updates have been communicated efficiently to all members of each store team
- Provide Training and development to all members of your team within the stores.
- Maintaining high levels of customer service within your store
- Ensure you and your team have up to date product knowledge to be effective in upselling products and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty by following up on out of stocks and orders placed.
- Maintain a steady and productive workflow making effective use of rostered hours placing and executing duties across the floor to ensure all work is completed and achieved within the deadline.
- Presenting the store with a good level of merchandising using displays and POS to present products and upsell.
- Overall responsibility for each departments performance ensuring sales targets are met and all KPIs are meeting expectations
- Professionally deal with any complaints/requests from customers to maintain the Companys reputation.
