The Team
You will be part of a crossfunctional team dedicated to delivering rapid and tactical technological solutions to meet critical business needs. The team collaborates with business users and IT departments to prototype and deploy custom applications bridging immediate requirements with longterm system strategies.
The Role
As a Rapid Application Developer (RAD) your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and deploying Applications to address urgent business needs.
- Writing specifications for tactical developments and collaborating with IT for permanent solutions where necessary.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing solutions to ensure efficiency scalability and alignment with user requirements.
- Conducting unit and application testing in partnership with IT teams.
- Supporting deployed applications including handling ondemand interventions and providing oncall support.
- Continuously improving the RAD development framework and processes to deliver highquality solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Masters degree in engineering computer science or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years in application development with experience in rapid/tactical development preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in VBA (MS Office) Python (API) and web development (HTML CSS JavaScript frameworks).
- Proficiency in database management (SQL) and DevOps tools (Docker CI/CD Linux).
- Strong understanding of system design development and maintenance processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Problemsolving mindset with a proactive approach to managing priorities.
- Team player with a clientoriented focus and a commitment to delivering highquality solutions.
- Language: Operational proficiency in French and English both written and spoken is required.
