Job Description
Our client is a professional construction and project management company providing services to private and public sector clients in Thailand.
Job Title: QA Engineer (MEP)
Location: Bangkok
Working: 5 Days/Week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site audits and inspections for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure compliance with project specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings nonconformities and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Review project documentation including design drawings specifications and construction schedules to identify potential quality issues and risks.
- Collaborate with project teams including engineers contractors and site supervisors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and track quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Participate in quality assurance meetings and reviews to discuss project progress and quality issues.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards codes and regulations related to MEP systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in building construction projects preferably in MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards codes and regulations including relevant building codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using quality management tools and techniques such as root cause analysis corrective action plans and statistical process control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD BIM software and quality management software.
- Ability to travel to construction sites in Thailand.
- Good command of English.
