Job Description

Our client a leader in commercial equipment supplies and facilities provides topquality products and delivers solutionbased customer service. Known for their commitment to their employees and superior product offerings they have seen consistent doubledigit growth over the past three years. With an impressive upward trajectory and expansion into new markets they are seeking a Director of Training and Market Expansion to spearhead training initiatives and drive market growth.

In this highimpact role youll take on the training and development responsibilities previously managed by the sales director. Start by collaborating with leadership to design and implement a productspecific training program tailored to the companys proven sales methodologies. Youll then travel to established markets (Seattle Portland and Denver) for about a week each month training and coaching Business Development Representatives (BDRs) on sales strategies and techniques. By Q2 your role will expand to new target markets where you will build and lead new sales teams. This position includes extensive travel with up to three weeks at a time (home on weekends) in these new markets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program to enhance BDR skills and effectiveness
  • Coach BDRs on prospecting market penetration and key sales strategies focusing on consultative and transactional sales
  • Identify and recruit new sales talent for targeted market expansions
  • Drive team motivation and provide guidance on recordkeeping contract management and closing strategies
  • Emphasize servicebased sales approaches maintaining a high closing ratio and client satisfaction
  • Travel regularly to both established and new markets providing ontheground support for BDRs
  • Report to leadership on team progress and market expansion performance metrics

Qualifications
  • Established record of sales success in commercial supplies business services or similar industries
  • Proven sales management experience including direct oversight of team members
  • Experience in new market development and expansion strategies
  • Strong motivation selfdirection and professional autonomy
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid19
