Fractional CFO

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detailoriented Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and optimize our financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strategic financial expertise and handson support in managing financial statements cash flow payments and overall financial health. This is a parttime or fractional role perfect for a seasoned professional looking to contribute to a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
   • Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and sustainability.
   • Develop and implement financial policies procedures and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance.
2. Financial Statements and Reporting:
   • Prepare analyze and present accurate and timely financial statements.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Offer insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
3. Cash Flow Management:
   • Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
   • Develop cash flow forecasts to anticipate and address funding requirements.
   • Identify opportunities to optimize cash reserves and investments.
4. Payments and Financial Operations:
   • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
   • Manage and optimize payment workflows including vendor and supplier payments.
   • Implement tools and processes to streamline payment operations.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Create and manage budgets aligned with organizational goals.
   • Conduct financial forecasting to guide decisionmaking and mitigate risks.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide regular financial updates and insights.
   • Support external stakeholders including auditors investors and financial institutions with required information.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Ensure compliance with tax regulations filings and other statutory obligations.
   • Identify and mitigate financial risks impacting the business.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a similar capacity.
• Expertise in financial planning analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles cash flow management and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools.
