Job Description
Location: College Station TX
Department: Mammography
Status/Shift: Full Time Day Shifts (40 hrs/wk)
Under the supervision of a Radiologist performs advanced breast imaging procedures
Assists technologist nurse or physician in preparing patients for exams or procedures
Maintains patient and staff confidentiality
Verifies patients identity using two forms of ID as per hospital policies
Operates and maintains equipment in accordance with policies and procedures
Ensures a clean and serviceable work environment for patient care
Manages equipment and supply inventory for the assigned area
Cleans rooms thoroughly in preparation for the next patient
Wears a personal monitoring device consistently and reports any issues to the Radiation Safety Office
Observes patients carefully recognizes changes in condition and seeks appropriate assistance
Verifies requisition/chart for valid written order priority date ordering comments physicians notes and patient consent forms

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience Requirement: Less than 1 Year.
